Is Windsor at Westside a good vacation rental investment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with the right home behind it. The amenity set and the ten-minute run to Disney do a lot of the selling, and the resort books reliably. What decides your individual result is whether your listing stands out from the many similar homes inside the same gates — which is the part we control.

How does it compare to Windsor Cay or Windsor Island?

Accepted Answer

All three are great options. Windsor Cay is the newest with builder inventory still available. Windsor Island is resale-only with less maintenance needed for a few years, but at a higher price point than Windsor at Westside. Both Windsor Island and Windsor Cay have improved amenities, and a water slide. Traffic is more of an issue at Windsor Island, whereas Windsor at Westside and Windsor Cay usually will have less traffic when entering the communities. Still, the parking situation at Windsor at Westside is less forgiving, so we recommend keeping the garage available for guests in most cases.

Do townhomes here actually perform?

They do, and they are underrated. A townhome costs far less to buy and far less to furnish, and guests get the identical amenity set. Measured against total capital deployed, the return can be excellent.

My home looks like every other listing. Can that be fixed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is the most common reason owners in large builder resorts call us. The architecture is fixed, so the interior is the only remaining variable — which makes a considered redesign the highest-return work available to you.

Yes, once we have walked the property. We will show you what we would change to lift the ceiling and what it costs. Renovation is our biggest lever on performance, so that is usually the most valuable conversation you will have about the home.
